One of Sydney’s most magnificent examples of late 19th century sandstone architecture, Vailele c1892 is a beautifully restored and irreplaceable waterfront landholding of peerless stature. 

Steeped in history, the estate once hosted Scottish novelist Robert Louis Stevenson as its guest, who lived out several of his later years in the garden cottage. Vailele also featured in the TV miniseries 'Return to Eden' in 1983.

In a labour of love, the current owners oversaw a meticulous two-year restoration and visionary transformation of the property, named after the Samoan term for ‘running water’.
